cable-end fastening
The personnel certification for rope end fixings according to Article 24 paragraph 2 letter a of the SeilV was newly established by Qualitech in Switzerland. The training for the creation of rope end fixings takes place at the Swiss Cableway Training Centre in Meiringen.
Applicants are requested to send us the completed and signed application for certification by e-mail or in writing by post to Qualitech AG.
The end of the rope is spliced at the rope end fastening. Various designations are used in this process:
- cable-end fastening
- cable anchorage
- cable suspension
The term rope end connection is used predominantly in the standard. If two rope ends are connected together, this is referred to as a rope connection.
Training content
Introduction to the technology of rope end fastening according to the new rope ordinance (personal certification). Possibilities and limits with cross-references to the regulations and instruction documents. Design of a potting and clamping head. Qualification procedures. Qualitech AG is accredited according to EN ISO/IEC 17024.
