Creep tests
With suitable equipment, the strain is absorbed over the test period under constant load.
Temporary strength
Creep rupture strength or creep behaviour of materials (mainly metals and polymers) at high temperatures is determined by using creep rupture machines. The tests can be carried out over a period of hours as well as weeks and months at temperatures of up to 1000°C. The tests can be carried out at temperatures of up to 1000°C. The creep behaviour of materials (mainly metals and polymers) at high temperatures can be measured. Both non-cut and notched round and flat specimens are used as test specimens.
